Both teams started well with convincing wins in the pool. Chichester Reds had a tough draw and had two losing matches against Haywards Heath and Pulborough, whilst the Greens saw off stiff competition from Horsham to make it to the final.

In the final it was clear that the Chi Reds had knocked the stuffing out of Pulborough in their pool as the greens displayed better fitness, tackling and ball handling skills to seal a convincing win.

Both teams showed amazing tenacity and worked together well, given how early on in the season it is. Well done everyone.
