Hook Norton were unfortunate not to gain a home victory over Evo-Stik Southern League Burnham FC in the intial game, but an own goal let the team two steps above "Hooky" off the hook. The start of last night's replay was delayed through one of the match officials not turning up, the game finally finished at 10:30pm after a thrilling 30 minutes of extra time. Two goals from Luc Thornton (38 50) were recorded in normal time for Hook Norton, two player's who were with Hellenic teams's last season, James Suarez (8), Carl Davies (71 pen), scored for the home side. Hooky took control of extra time period, a goal in each half Marcus Green (95), Simon Hall (117). Hook Norton stalwart Geoff James commented "Thrilling match with the Hellenic team deservedly triumphing over Southern League opposition in extra time." Hooky now travel to Eastbourne United on September 12.

Premier Division

Two early goals for Thame United, Ben Gray (6), Andy Gledhill (25) were enough to give the Oxfordshire side victory over Reading based Highmoor-Ibis. Mitchell Parker also scored in the first half for Highmoor (44). The victory moves Thame to sixth position in the table.
