The UNDER 18 WHITES, edged their North Hants & District cup quarter final against Salisbury.
Sam Murray scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win.
The UNDER 16’s eased into the semi finals of the Testway league cup with a 8-1 home win over Amesbury Wolves.
Charlie Young scored 4 of the goals with two set up by Jacob Earle.
George Sutton scored twice with Oscar Smith providing one of the assists and scoring himself.
Jack Plummer completed the scoresheet.
The UNDER 14’s WHITES continued their quest for their 4th consecutive Cup win with a home fixture v Andover Robins from league 2.
The whites were at full strength for the first time this season with the return of Milo Culley and Harry Moody after lengthy lay offs while Freddie Green made his 100th appearance for the club.
The whites started on the front foot and were rewarded for some neat football with a quick brace from captain Jack Street.
The Whites continued to keep their foot on the throttle with some smart attacking football, cutting through the Andover defence at will with all 11 showing confidence on the ball allowing their passing game to move to top gear.
Street added 2 more goals to his tally, sandwiched by a Thomas Woodhouse-Smith strike and a Rory Young trademark finish, following a flowing swift passing move.
With Olly Harris and Young working in unison as pivots, they began pulling the strings, breaking up the play and getting the whites on the front foot at every opportunity.
With the game seemingly in control, the whites went down to 10 men after a show of dissent cost the whites a team member for the rest of the game.
This just provided to galvanise the team and, if anything, they went onto play better. With the boys having to work harder, the half time whistle came and allowed the boys to get a much needed greater.
The coaches decided to ring the changes at half time, and with some much needed fresh legs, they continued to defy the numbers deficit and played some fantastic football.
Harris added a deserved 7th, with his first of the season, shortly followed by Youngs second and a neat finish from Tom Harwood following another flowing move.
Harwood added a second before a deserved consolation goal for the visitors.
Fin Fabi popped up with a great strike before Leighton Gray added to his tally for the season to cap off a player of the match performance for his all round work rate and solid defensive display.
As they have all season, the boys continued to play some quality football and kept focus for the most part and march into the semi finals, where they will take some stopping.
The UNDER 15’s WHITES scored a late winner at home to Broughton in the league.
Dexter Andrews, Noah Hodge, Cecil Lomotey and Ellis Mundy all scored in a 4-3 win.
The UNDER 15’s GREENS and REDS were both on the road for friendlies.
The GREENS went down 3-0 at Fawley while the REDS won 4-0 at South Wonston Swifts with Carter Cox, Stan Goodridge-Reynolds, Harry Lewis and Archie Thomas on the scoresheet.
The UNDER 14’s REDS hosted top of the table Holt in what turned out to be a highly competitive encounter.
Holt opened the scoring in the 9th minute as they started brightly before the Reds levelled thanks to an Ollie Dobson far post header from a Ralph Gilbertson corner 5 minutes later.
Riley Sanders came on for his 50th club appearance before Alex Bull had a good chance to put the Reds in the lead but fired over while Harrison Smith made two good saves at the end of the half.
It was a similar story at the start of the second half as the visitors came fast out the traps and went back in front 3 minutes in cutting in from the left and squeezing the ball in.
Reds equalised again 9 minutes later when a left wing freekick from Gilbertson was again met by the head of Dobson to level.
Parity didn’t last long though as the Reds overplayed around their box and didn’t clear their lines allowing Holt to press home and convert.
Reds missed a couple of good chances to level again when well placed while at the other end Smith had to make a number of good blocks and saves to keep them in the game.
With Holt looking to kill the game they struck the post and again were denied by Smith but the Reds held on and took their final opportunity as Smith gathered a through ball before quickly kicking the ball forward for Bull to out stretch the Holt defence and finish past the keeper to make it 3-3.
The UNDER 13’s GREENS picked up three points with a tight 2-1 win at home to AFC Stoneham.
Sophie Shord and Florence Ambrozie were the goalscorers with fellow Florence Cripps player of the match.
Eve Summerill made her 50th appearance for the club.
The other two UNDER 13’s had difficult mornings with away fixtures.
The REDS travelled to Lymington and got off to a bad start and from there on looked rusty with their first game in weeks, it was equally disappointing for the WHITES who played a friendly at Overton and were well beaten.
The UNDER 12’s REDS went out of the League Cup, losing their Quarter Final match against high flying Division 1 team Waltham Wolves Cobras.
Despite a 7-3 loss, the Reds put in one of their best performances of the season, with the final score not quite reflecting the closeness of the contest against tough opposition.
Able to dominate the early exchanges, they began the match with great energy and took a deserved lead as Ollie Webb calmly converted a superb cross from the ever energetic Rafe Symons.
Charlie Malcolm nearly doubled the score, beating the Waltham keeper with a well placed strike, but was denied by the woodwork before the home side scored two quick goals to take the lead.
A superb one handed save from Teddy Robinson was a stand out moment of a great performance in goal, and kept them well in the game through a tightly contested first half.
With Waltham quick on the break and clinical in front of goal, the result crept away from the Reds, but the fight and energy remained and deep into the second half they continued to play some fantastic football.
Webb scored his second with another great finish after a sublime chip over the defence by Luca Potgieter. With every Clarendon player giving their all up until the final whistle, they deservedly got to close out the scoring with a powerful strike from Malcolm.
Special mentions for Jay Burden who's energy and link-up play made him a constant threat and for Finlay Cross who's ability to break up attacks and intelligently distribute out of defence was a true asset in a tight game. A superb team performance that every player should take great pride in and a huge amount of confidence from.
The UNDER 11’s GREENS travelled to Southampton Women and again showed their development with the girls learning to read the game more and positioning themselves accordingly.
The team scored five times thanks to a hatrick from Lilly Reynolds while Phoebe Akehurst scored twice.
The UNDER 11’s REDS put the disappointment of last weeks fixture with a home game against Salisbury Reds and came out of the blocks firing on all cylinders with a number of chances for both sides.
Some good work down the wing saw Frankie Duffill find Jack Bunt in space who calmly slotted home the opener.
Immediately after the break some more good work from Duffill found Aiden Willetts in space firing home a superb effort, no less than 30 seconds later the pair teamed up again to score their third.
The reds continued to press their advantage with some good work from Jake O’Donnell releasing Felix Soket to find the net.
Bunt found Willetts unmarked at a corner and the striker snatched his hat trick.
The Reds were not happy with 5 goals and concontinued to make opportunities. Bunt pierced the defensive line with a delightful through ball which saw Toby Longstaff confidently slot home. Some late heroics from Dylan Hopkins in goal denied Salisbury.
The UNDER 11’s were also at home as they welcomed Overton Whites to Barry’s Field.
In what was a well contested game with every single player giving it 100% it could have gone either way and the game in the balance until late on.
Katari Castellano picked up the player of the match award with Max Le Page scoring twice and Dylan Evans finding the back of the net.
The UNDER 10’s REDS raced out the traps away to Amesbury with 3 goals in the opening quarter.
Charlie Jack opening the scoring following Oli Golden’s fine wing play and cross across the box.
Henry Bowyer notched a brace as Golden continued to cause the host’s problems down the right wing.
Bowyer completed his hatrick before half time.
The Reds came out in the second half full of confidence. Some lovely triangle passing moves made the pitch look more like a trigonometry class.
Bowyer added two more which took him past 50 goals for the club before cat-like keeper Golden was finally beaten just before the final whistle.
Special mention to stand in keepers Austin Provan, Zac Durbin & Golden.

The UNDER 10’s WHITES hosted Overton Whites with every player putting in a shift and giving their all which saw some cracking football played and lovely to watch.
Stan Taylor made his 50th appearance for the club with Player of the match going to Alfie Evans for his defensive performance with Freddie Thom and Josh Miles both scoring twice and Theo Johnson also grabbing a goal.
Dexter Podger scored a thunderbolt of a freekick for the UNDER 9’s REDS who travelled to Alderholt which helped earn up the player of the match with a special mention to Luca Georgi at the back.
The UNDER 9’s WHITES hosted Shipton Bellinger in an end to end game.
Joe Malcolm scored both the Whites goal while player of the match went to Zach Fountain for his tracking back.
The UNDER 8’s REDS traveled just up the road to Broughton for their league match.
The reds started off well with some good movement from playing out from the back which is something the team have been focusing on in training.
Oscar Watts, Eddie Harris, Harry Easley and Luca Murphy all looked comfortable on the ball passing it around nicely and created some good chances, Murphy was a extremely unlucky at the end of the 1st quarter with a great strike cleared off the line.
The Reds went into the 2nd quarter the same way they played the first. Some lovely passing patterns which opened up the score sheet for Tom Brown with a lovely taken goal before Harris completed a solo run taking on 4 players on his own and finished with a great strike in to the bottom corner.
Arthur Knight played well in defence showing a lot of confidence on the ball and picking out some great passes.
Raff Rose worked hard in the midfield which helped create a great chance for Sam Kempton who slotted it home and celebrated his first goal for the team.
Brown won a free kick late in the last quarter and put it away nicely with a top bins finish.
The coaches see an improvement in this team every week and our very proud of their hard work and willingness to learn.
Player of the match went to Sam Kempton for his pressing when up front which paid off with his first goal for the club.
The UNDER 8’s WHITES hosted Alderholt Raptors led by captain Evan Wright.
Player of the match went to Alfie Wallace who was also on the scoresheet with Kai West firing home a hatrick.
The UNDER 7’s REDS produced a solid team performance as they travelled to KTF.
Freddie Collins was strong at the back and also got on the scoresheet with his first for the club with a shot from outside the box in a player of the match display.
Arlo Watts was on fire again with his shooting boots scoring 4 including a direct freekick into the top corner.
Ryan Burton scored an early goal for the UNDER 7’s WHITES with a powerfully struck effort at home to Compton.
Compton stormed back in the second quarter, before the whites finished strongly.
Further goals came from Ruben Smith and Ethan Glanville with Josh Willingale’s all-round display earning him the player of the match.
The SATURDAY SENIOR team returned to action with a straightforward 7-0 win away to Soton Athletic.
Two goals from Jack Latter, and goals from
Henry Youd, Archie Cook, Steph Gilpin, James Herbert and Nick Lloyd completed the scoring with Andy Morton proving two assists.
The UNDER 12’s SUNDAY reached the last 8 of the Peter Houseman cup coming from behind at Rooksdown Celtics.
Playing against a side 2 divisions above meant it was going to require a mighty effort to progress to the quarter final.
The early exchanges were heavily in favour of Rooksdown but the team remained dangerous on the counter attack with Charlie Green forcing a good save from the home keeper.
Max Le Page also rounded the keeper but couldn't sort his feet out quick enough to get his shot off.
Rooksdown thought they'd taken the lead only for the flag to be raised.
Adrian Wyczolkowski on his 100th appearance for the club made a string of superb saves and some heroic defending from Tom Latter meant Clarendon were still in the hunt.
This time it was Clarendon denied by the offside flag as Zach Andrews powerful shot was saved with Green tapping in before the flag was raised, the half time whistle blew with it still goalless.
Clarendon came out in the second half with more attacking intent but it was Rooksdown who took the lead. Despite a save from Wyczolkowski and a brave block from Lawson Mahony on the line the ball found its way into the net.
A reshuffle saw Latter go into the forwards role and immediately caused problems for the opposition winning what was a stone wall penalty only for the ref to wave it on.
Minutes later though Latter was taken out by the keeper to win a penalty.
Teddy Robinson stepped up and slotted the ball hard and low past the keeper.
The link up play between Robinson, Latter, Le Page and Mahony was pure quality as Clarendon went knocking for a winner.
Le Page looped a ball over for Latter to score his first before Robinson’s through ball found Latter again.
Goal of the game was the last goal as Green picked the ball up deep after his switch of position and found Mahony who then started a string of first time passes resulting in Robinson finding Latter for him to complete a superb hat trick.
Clarendon saw the game out and progress to the quarters after a hard fought win.
The UNDER 11’s SUNDAY team faced Harlequins Whites and produced a hard working performance against a strong side who were heavy winners earlier in the season but this time it was a lot closer.
Oscar Bullis was on the scoresheet and also player of the match and Jack Chapman shared the player of the match for their individual endeavour through the match.
The UNDER 9’s GREENS travelled to Downton for their first run out since Christmas.
Within the first four minutes Nellie Robinson and Maisie Hopkins found the back of the net with Robinson completing a hatrick by the end of the quarter.
The second quarter saw a change in play, stretching some of the girls to play different positions which they adapted well.
With Quinn Armstrong and Lilly Davies running the midfield, Mia Roche and Robinson put some absolute banging goals to bed with some great set pieces.
In the third quarter, the girls were starting to feel the effects of the cold but that didn't stop Harbour Bolger from putting the through balls into the forwards and picking up 3 assists.
Downton got a fine goal with a counter and slotting a fireball goal.
Roche picked up her hatrick with some absolute cracking goals and runs down the wing which also brought up her 50th goal for the club. She was instrumental in setting Ava Webb up for a goal after bouncing the ball around the goal for her to slot it in, finally getting her goal she worked so hard for.
The final quarter the frostbite set in, but the girls continued to put on a show with some amazing passing.
The SUNDAY SENIOR recorded a 5-0 win at home to Railway in their latest cup game.
They opened the scoring in the third minute when Warren Nesmith provided the cross for Ally Barter to head home.
Adam Cater made it 2-0 before the half time interval before Callum Taylor forced him a rebound on the hour mark.
With ten minutes to go, Neil McDonald set up Kieran Pearce for the teams fourth and Dan Clark sealed the win with a fifth goal 4 minutes from time.
