The Club is delighted to announce that Rieves Boocock has this afternoon signed for the Owls on a 1-month loan from League One side Doncaster Rovers. Subject to FA & NPL ratification, Rieves will be straight into the squad for tomorrow's vital clash at home to Stamford.

The 19-year old has already broken goal-scoring records at the Rovers academy and has first-team experience, including against Premier League Crystal Palace in an FA Cup tie. The young man is clearly an exciting prospect.

Manager Dave Smith took time out from overseeing preparations for the weekend to offer the following comments to the official website:

"Rieves is a really good addition to our attacking options, having been a top performer within Doncaster's academy set-up and we look forward to helping his development.

He has experience of the Northern Premier League already, scoring goals and winning player-of-the-month accolades. Rieves is also technically good and I look forward to working with him for the next month.

I would like to thank Doncaster Rovers for their support and to Gary McSheffrey for helping us get this deal done.
