The Owls moved into the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a comfortable victory against Midland Premier League outfit Walsall Wood.
Clee dominated the first 45 and a free-kick from captain Alex Flett started the scoring on 15 minutes. This was quickly followed by a penalty from Scott Vernon (pictured slotting home the equaliser from the spot against Stamford).
2-0 at the break and any hopes of a Wood fightback were ended by a fine second of the afternoon from Vernon, before the evergreen Matt Bloomer capped a man-of-the-match performance by heading a fourth. Kyle Rowley scored a consolation for the visitors and Jon Oglesby was sent-off for two yellow cards.
In truth though, Walsall were well beaten on the day and can have no complaints about the outcome.
The draw for the next round takes place at Wembley Stadium tomorrow (Monday) at 1pm.
