Luke Mascall scored the opener which was then followed up by a brace from Brody Robertson.
Marcus Newell made just one change from the Owls 3-3 draw with Clipstone last week as Caine Winfarrah came in for the unavailable Jonathan Oglesby.
It was nearly the perfect start for the Owls as they pressed early on and in just the fourth minute as Marc Cooper’s shot from just eight yards out was saved by Nick Siddons.
Kieran Wressell, making just his fourth appearance for the club came inches away from giving the Owls the lead with ten minutes played as he headed over the bar following a Mascall header which was parried by Siddons.
The relenting pressure was finally met with a goal on 43 minutes as Mascall headed home a precise Winfarrah cross from the right.
With no changes at the break, the Owls went on ultra offensive mode and found the back of the net in their first attack. Winfarrah did brilliantly on the wing cutting in to provide a perfect low cross for Robertson to fire the ball home from four yards out.
Robertson sealed the game just 15 minutes later as he latched onto a Mascall through ball and slotted the ball home past the on-rushing Siddons to give the Owls all three points.
