Clee made a lively start to the game and took the lead after just 4 minutes, after some great work from Flett, as he crossed the ball to Oglesby who looped his header over the goalkeeper.
Immediately after, the Owls made it 2-0, this time through Andy Taylor, after he got on the end of Flett’s ball, Taylor lobbed the goalkeeper to score.
Shortly after, Cooper went close to making it 3-0, although his effort didn’t trouble the goalkeeper, as it sailed over the bar.
Clee continued to control the rest of the 2nd half and dealt with Spalding’s balls into the box very well, limiting the chances for the opposition.
Cleethorpes made it 3-0 in the 50th minute, as defender Tim Lowe scored at the back post, after fantastic work down the right from Oglesby.
On around the 70th minute mark, Spalding went on the attack, however the shot from the Spalding number 9 was well held by Higton.
Not long after, Spalding went close again, however Higton made a great save to tip the ball out for a corner, preserving his clean sheet.
The game ended 3-0, a good 3 points away from home for the Owls, to continue their 100% record this season.
