The Owls are on the road to Cambridgeshire tonight (Tuesday - 7.45pm) in the Evostik East with a visit to Wisbech Town.
After Saturday's disappointment, Clee will be looking to leap-frog their hosts with a win. The Fenmen have not found life easy following their promotion and sit in 18th place, having gained ten points from eleven outings. Like the Owls, they also suffered a home reverse at the weekend, losing 4-2 against Loughborough Dynamo.
It has been a stop-start league campaign so far, with some poor performances interspersed with much better displays. Our last away trip ended with a fantastic 5-1 triumph at Belper Town, let's hope for some more goal celebrations tonight! (Picture: Josh Batty enjoying opening the scoring against Frickley Athletic)
The sides have met once before. In the 2014/15 FA Vase, Wisbech came from behind to cancel out Jack Richardson's opener and win 2-1.
So, it will be another test but no reason why the Owls cannot bring home the points. Hope to see a few of our fabulous support make the journey south.
