This Saturday sees the Seasiders retracing their steps back to the VX3 Homers Heath Stadium this time for a Jewson Western League game against Buckland Athletic, kick off 3:00 pm after the Seasiders comprehensive 3-0 win in the FA Vase last week
This is another vital game as both teams are riding high in the league, with Clevedon now second after Brixham’s midweek win and Buckland fifth just four points behind.
Both teams are in excellent form too, with Buckland unbeaten in their last ten league games, including eight wins and an impressive 2-0 victory against new leaders Brixham in their last league game. Equally Clevedon are unbeaten in their last seventeen games in all competitions and have only failed to score in one game all season.
The teams are closely matched in all games between the sides. Buckland have nine wins to Clevedon’s eight and there has only been one draw, which was last season when Clevedon also won 3-2 in the first league game of the season.
As supporters found last week they can be assured of a warm welcome at Buckland and for those going the postcode for the ground is TQ12 5JU and the Seasiders will be playing in their lucky pink and purple away kit.
