On the first occasion that these two sides met in an attempt to complete this fixture back in December it was abandoned with the score at 2-2, following the collapse of a player. This is the rearranged match. This time around it's crucial Carno not only maintain their unbeaten home record, but also collect all three points available in order to keep the pressure on the teams above.
The reverse fixture way back in August was in fact Carno's first win of the season, the opening week's victory over Dolgellau having been scrapped upon their sad mid-season exit from the league. That day, Carno did well to hold onto their slender 1-0 lead against a resilient Tywyn side.
Nine months on and Carno sit in third position while Tywyn are in twelfth. However, with both teams going into this match with good back to back league wins under their belts, it promises to be a hard fought affair.
Carno's squad is almost the same as the one that won against Bow Street on Friday, the only differences being that Toby Evans rejoins them following injury, and that Harry Bastable is unavailable due to work commitments.
Kick off at Ty Brith Field 2:30pm.
