Gary Petts has today announced that that he has signed Dylan Wilson on loan from St Ives for the next few weeks.
"Delighted to get him with us as he is a prolific proven goalscorer.
Massive thank you to Ricky Marheineke and Craig Adams who have allowed us to have Dylan despite many other clubs also after his services on loan.
He will go straight into the team to play Deeping Rangers this Saturday followed by an away Senior Cup tie at Kettering Town next Tuesday night".
Gary Petts.
Dylan came to prominence in the UCL with Rushden & Higham United where he scored goals for fun during 2017/18 season, averaging just under a goal a game and the teenager was deservingly given his chance at a higher level where he made an instant scoring impact at St Ives Town. Sadly he suffered a broken ankle in the Christmas game against Lowestoft Town which rules him out for the rest of last season and meant he missed pre-season this time around, so this is a win-win situation with the Cooks having his services for a month and St Ives getting the benefit of his regaining match fitness. He did well in the friendly fixture between our two clubs last midweek and bagged a goal along the way.
Welcome to Compton Park Dylan, looking forward to seeing you in action soon.
