After a hugely successful 23/24 season, our very own Bok, Getty Schinkel, remains in the role of Head Coach for our senior men’s teams. He will be joined by club stalwart John Hargreaves, who steps into the role of Director of Senior Rugby, and first-team player Gary Lancaster, who is taking on the role of Assistant Coach.

John is a well-known face around the club, both to old and new members, and brings a wealth of knowledge from his many years in the sport. Gary is a permanent fixture on the first team’s sheet and can always be found in the backs, where he became the club’s top try scorer last season. His background in rugby league will add a whole new depth to the team.

“We are extremely excited about this season and hope to step it up a little bit after a good season last year. We have loads of new faces, which means more competition for places and hopefully two full squads every week. The players are keen and have embraced everything we’ve thrown at them so far. With the new plays and styles we’re trying to implement, we hope it will pay dividends for them all. Really looking forward to it!”

Our first team will be competing in Counties 3 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire, and our second team will be competing in the NOWIRUL Division 3 North.
