Matt Day, How does it feel to be back here, the new First Team Manager of Colney Heath FC?
To be given the opportunity to be First Team Manager of Colney Heath was something i just couldn't turn down, I'm delighted to be here and really looking forward to getting started.

Are you excited to be making the Step up?
Of course I'm excited but I'm also a big believer in you have to challenge yourself in whatever you do so whilst i am excited, I'm definitely up for the challenge as well.

How has your Managerial Career been going & Where have you been?
I've managed Bedmond Reserves, Bedmond First Team and Colney Heath u23s, but most recently I've been at Sandridge Rovers. I'm grateful to them for everything, they have supported me and the team over the last 2 years. It's a cracking club with great people involved.

What are your plans for the season ahead?
We will work the boys hard in pre season and we have a good set of friendlies already lined up, so we will be looking to hit the ground running when that first competitive fixture comes round and take it from there.

We know you're a local man, will we be seeing plenty of Old & New local talent back at Colney Heath?
We want to make sure the best local players play for our club, so we will be using our fantastic youth teams to provide players and we will provide a pathway to senior football. We will also be looking at others with experience at this level who are local lads. Watch this space!
