Former Chester City youngster Frasier Ablett has agreed terms with Manager Neil Young this evening and is set to complete his paperwork next week after training with the squad recently.
“Frasier is a left sided defender with excellent technical ability and I am hoping once he has adjusted to the league he will be a great addition for us.” said Manager Neil Young.
The Bay look forward to their first home game for just over a month on Saturday and face second from bottom, Rossendale Utd, who were comfortably beaten 4-1 away from home earlier in the season.
“Although Rossendale are second from bottom in the league I don't believe there are any easy games in this league and they are fighting to stay in the league and coming off the back of a good win last week. We have spoken at great lengths with the players this week regarding their concentration and the need to keep their level of performance for the whole game and no just for parts.”
Daniel Grannon will again miss out with a knee injury as will Tom McGill with a nagging knee injury. Neil Black is having a lot of pain in his back and hamstrings and will also miss out but its is hoped that with treatment and some rest he could be back next week.
“With our injuries and Chris Sanna’s suspension the squad is fully stretched but I have full confidence in the players who are available.”
