After a long day of travelling on day one the side awoke fully refreshed and after a good breakfast were on their way to Amsterdam again this time to visit Ajax football club.
The side arrived at Ajax academy directly opposite the stadium where they had a quick look around the facility and watched a short session of the under 19s.
From there the side went into the Amsterdam Arena. Before the tour players visited the club shop and purchased a number of Ajax memorabilia.
On the tour the players were guided around the stadium, changing rooms, press rooms and other areas of the ground.
After lunch the players took part in a small fun based session by Ajax academy coaches directly outside the stadium which is open to all Ajax junior fans each week before home games.
Players took part in a skill based drill, a small sided game and one v one drill.
Then the players re entered the Amsterdam Arena to watch the Ajax Vs Heracles league game. A fantastic match which saw Ajax win the game by six goals to nil. Goals from the game came from Janssen, Ebecilio, Eriksen, Anita, De Jong and Sigthorsson.
A realy enjoyable game of football, with as you would expect from Ajax some great passing and finishing on display. The boys also got to see Ajax managers from distance the legendary Frank De Boer and Dennis Bergkamp. Earlier in the day the side also saw Japp Stam and Ronald De Boer who are currently coaches of the Ajax youth team, when they were taking their training session.
After a busy day at the football club the side went out for an evening meal at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for a free evening of football on a local near by pitch.
Tomorrow will see the real action begin with the side travelling to Willem II academy base for a training session from their academy staff before travelling to fellow Dutch National League side NAC Breda for a friendly match.
