Conwy Borough FC is delighted to announce the merger of Llandudno Swifts FC with our first team, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for both teams.

This move strengthens and unites two ambitious clubs with a shared commitment to the development of young local players, and succeeding both on and off the pitch, with a focus on improving engagement within the community. As part of the integration, the Swifts’ coaching and managerial staff, along with committee members will play a full, active and integral role within Conwy Borough FC, bringing valuable experience and fresh ideas to help drive us forward.

To ensure a smooth transition, unified training sessions are already underway, allowing players and staff to build strong working relationships and prepare for the challenges ahead. We have been impressed by the talent, dedication, and team spirit of the Swifts’ squad, and we are confident that this collaboration will be a positive step forward for everyone involved.

As such, the first team will play under the name of Conwy Borough Swifts FC as a show of the commitment and combined strength of this newly merged squad.

Conwy Manager Simon Allen said:-
