There was one change to last week’s side that defeated Thornton Cleveleys, captain Nathan Fairhurst came in for injured Conner Whittaker. Daniel Fishwick and Ryan Brookes made their returns from injury and both took places on the bench.
Latest signings Lennie Reid and Kieran Woods started the game.

Euxton Villa started off the better side. Kevin Baldwin had 2 saves to make in the opening 20 minutes of the game whilst Euxton piled on the pressure. Chances came to Ash Ball and Daniel Hogg but neither could put Euxton ahead. Lennie Reid had a fantastic shot saved by the Euxton keeper on the 24th minute.

Some fantastic build up play by Coppull led to Lennie Reid scoring his second goal in 2 games for his new club. A minute later Tom Entwistle scored a brilliant goal, a certain goal of the season contender.

Coppull carried on their form from the first half and 55 minutes in Tom Entwistle was brought down in the box and a penalty was awarded. Ryan Steele stepped up and scored, making it 24 goals for the season. Both sides had some chances to score and Euxton were fighting to get back into the game. On the 73rd minute Ryan Steele took the ball around the Euxton keeper and made it 4-0.

George Melling was then sent off on the 78th minute for a last man tackle and Coppull saw out the last 10 minutes with 10 men.

Results elsewhere saw Coppull United go back to top of the league, joint with Fulwood Amateurs who we face on Saturday 31st in which should be an exciting game.
