Managers Programme Notes:
Good afternoon and welcome to Kevin Stevens, his management team, players and staff from Bearsted. Bearsted are having a great season and have a very realistic chance of finishing in the top six, if not top five this season, which I am sure they will be pleased with and use as a stepping stone to challenge next season. Bearsted had a flying start to the season, but have recently lost their two top scorers, which is always hard to replace, but they do have a quality squad and I am sure they will finish the season strongly, we managed to pick up a point in a 3-3 draw at Bearsted earlier in the season, somewhat fortunately and will need to ensure we apply ourselves correctly today to come away with the three points we are so desperate to secure.

We come into today's game on the back of yet another great win against fellow title challenger Chatham Town. Putting to bed a run of three consecutive league defeats against them, which was a pleasing monkey to get off our backs. We have now deservedly beaten them in the past two matches and should we win our games in hand, we will be eight points clear of them with nine games to play. There is still undoubtedly a long way to go this season and a lot of football to be played, but moving above Chatham with games in hands is psychologically really important for us.

We started slowly on Tuesday and were maybe somewhat surprised by the long ball and intimidation tactics Chatham tried to employ during the game, but as soon as Jack Mahoney converted a first half penalty, it felt as though the tide of momentum changed in the game and we were the side in the ascendency. Luke Tanner continued his excellent scoring season with a well taken left footed finish and then Eman scored his 4th in as many games to keep his goalscoring run going. Chatham never really caused us too many problems after they went behind and despite conceding a poor goal, I must give credit to our defensive unit for standing firm and giving us a platform to go on and secure another win.

Special mention must go to Jamie Billings, who in the FA Vase match vs Leighton Town last week made his 250th appearance for Corinthian senior sides. An achievement I am sure you will want to join me in congratulating him on this feat.
