Corsham Academy U13 player, Alfie Johnson, made his debut for Wiltshire County Under 12s yesterday (Sunday 12th May) against Dorset U12s at Canford School. Alfie took 4 for 18 to restrict Dorset to 131 all out in their 40 overs, and followed up by steering Wiltshire to a four wicket win with an undefeated 33 in a match-winning 91 run partnership with Sam Ashman who scored 72 not out.

Alfie's all round performance secured the Man of the Match award.

Match details: Dorset 131 all out off 40 overs (Alfie Johnson 4 for 18, Nathan Dickinson 2 for 7, Charlie Carroll 2 for 15, Toby Day 2 for 17) Wiltshire 133 for 6 in 34.1 overs (Sam Ashman 72 not out, Alfie Johnson 33 not out). Wiltshire won by 4 wickets.
