Jack Tregarth signs up to Lee Knibbs squad

First team manager Lee Knibbs has moved swiftly to replace the injured Jake Allingan by signing young keeper Jack Tregarth from Coventry Alvis. Jake has been superb for us since joining the club earlier in the season but unfortunately he has suffered an injury that has ended his run in the No.1 shirt. Jack Tregarth now has the opportunity to establish himself as the new No.1 for Coventry Sphinx.
Lee Knibbs is delighted to get his man and told us: “I am really pleased that Jack has agreed to sign for Coventry Sphinx. We have tracked his progression for several months and I decided it was the right time to make my move. After speaking to Jack, the way he came across convinced me even more that he is the right person to fill the number 1 shirt. For me, it was a positive sign that Jack turned down other opportunities and decided to join Coventry Sphinx and buy in to what we would like to achieve. I fully believe that under the guidance of our goal keeping coach Jason Pyott, Jack will continue to excel. I would also like to thank Luke (Hopkins), Don (Corrigan) and all at Coventry Alvis personally for assisting with the transfer. It is very much appreciated.
Coventry born Jack joins in time to join the squad on their trip to Lye Town this Saturday. We wish him the best of luck and offer him a warm welcome to the club.
