We made the long journey to Llannefydd on Saturday knowing that nothing but our best would do as Llannefydd's home record is one of the best in the league. Credit must go to Llannefydd as they have worked hard to further improve their facilities since last season.
Both teams started well but cancelling each other out in midfield and when chances came they were half chances at best. 0.0 half time.
The second half was a similar patter but the game opened up in the last 20 minutes. The crucial goal came on 85 minutes as a long throw wasnt dealt with and Ieu Lloyd was on hand to finish from close range. Berffro held firm for a 1.0 win.
Of late we felt that the performances have been good and we have been solid in defence but goals have been hard to come by. It was a relief to finally get the goal on Saturday and hopefully now we can kick on from here. There were a lot of positive performances on Saturday but Connor Rees was the man of the match after a cool and calm performance at centre back.
Man of the match Connor Rees sponsored by Pete Owens
Goal: Ieu Lloyd sponsored by Ger Marian.
Thanks to the travelling supporters for making the long journey; im sure it was worth it after that result. Keep the faith.
