Sion a graduate of the clubs Juniors who stepped up to the seniors during the summer of 2008. A young robust striker who has a great attitude for the game had a very rewarding season with United’s Reserve side; he won the Llanrug United Reserves Player Of The Season and also the Top Scorer award, scoring sixteen goals from twenty two appearances for the Reserves. He scored two hat tricks during the season, a 7-1 win league match away at Bangor University and 4-0 win cup tie against Groeslon.

During the season Sion made a couple of substitute appearances for United’s 1st team, and scored a fine goal in United 5-0 drubbing of Penhyndeudraeth in an FAW Trophy cup tie at Eithin Duon in October.

United’s Club Officials, Players and Supporters congratulate Sion, and are very proud of his achievements, and wish him well for the new season.

Sion will receive his award at the Caernarfon & District League Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 3rd of July.
