It became apparent very early in the match that Talysarn had come with a game plan which was defending deep in numbers, to their credit it was a job they did very well for nearly all the match, but especially in the first half when they frustrated us into only one effort on goal by Joe Soar which was brilliantly saved by the keeper. In added time in the first half we scored, It had to be a mistake or something special going on how the game was going, and what a special goal it was, a rocket from Rob Griffiths on the corner of the area flying into the top corner, the keeper couldn't even react and stood there watching the ball go past him .
Second half we had even more possession of the ball, but still found it hard to create chances, we did get 2 penalties though, both clinically taken by Sion Parry to notch up his 50th of the season and 200 overall for the club, i think its the first time ever the opposition failed to have an attempt on goal, credit goes to our well organised defence.
not a brilliant or entertaining game but again we did what we had to do - get the 3 points. lets keep this run going
