3 games remain for lads to impress before start of new season

Mynydd will continue preparations for their first season in the first division of the Welsh Alliance League with three friendly fixtures over the course of the next 6 days.

Three tough games will enable the team to make more progress to regaining their match fitness and sharpness in readiness for the first league fixture on 12 August. It will also provide plenty of opportunity for the lads to impress the management team of Huw Davies, Arwyn Griffths and Phillip Thomas.

Mynydd have been able to retain the vast majority of their squad from last season, and with the addition of quality players such as Andy Barker and Gerwyn Roberts, who have both played at Division 1 level with last season's Division 1 Champions Glantraeth, the squad is looking stronger by the day.

The first fixture of a gruelling week for Mynydd is tomorrow night when they travel to face Division 2 side, Glan Conwy. Kick off is 6:30pm.

Next up on Wednesday will be a tough encounter against newly promoted Division 2 side Bodedern Athletic. Bodedern have a strong squad and recently added Division 2 Player of the Season, Steven Whittaker to their ranks.

Finally, on Saturday, Mynydd will entertain CPD Y Felinheli. Euron Davies' men are always a fit and competitive side at this time of the season, so this will also give the Mynydd boys a good test in their final pre-season friendly.

Keep an eye out on the website and social media for further information.
