Sponsorship Opportunities with Crewe Alex Women

CALFC are to be taken on by the Crewe Alexandra men’s side as of 2019-20, which will see the name change from Ladies to Women, our playing kit match that of the men’s side and better facilities for the players to call home.
Prior to 2011 the South Cheshire area had traditionally struggled to maintain a senior women’s team with the football club going through several re-incarnations over the years.

The biggest challenge the club faced was being able to recruit enough players from our small catchment area to be sustainable. So the first crucial and best decision made by Nick Pearce on his appointment as Head Coach was that the club would produce its own future First Team players by focusing on the development of talented local players.

With our strategy set, the committee created the clubs underpinning philosophy, vision and core values and working to these principles the club always aims to represent itself, our sponsors and our community to the highest standards.
From 2012 to 2019 the club has expanded from a single team to now boast four squads representing the club at different age groups. The youth sides play at county level and our Development Squad and First Team have gone on to play at national level.

The work put in by the club’s staff to promote women’s football in the community, the high standard of coaching that we deliver and the professional way our players represent the club and themselves has been recognised by the FA and the local community. We are extremely proud of the awards that the club continue to receive as we were once again awarded FA Charter Standard Club status.

This is going to be an exciting new era for Crewe Alexandra Women FC.

Crewe Alexandra Women FC is a non for profit community club which lies at the heart of female football within South Cheshire. Please take a look at our latest sponsorship brochure for opportunities to promote your business and support female football in the local community.
