After some neat football by both sides in testing conditions it was Hawcoat Park who took the lead on 18 minutes with a great strike by Ben Stoker.

The nearest Crooklands came to levelling the scores was when Dave Mansergh was put through but he blazed over the bar shortly before the break.

Hawcoat Park were worthy of the half time 1-0 lead playing with the elements in their favour.

As Cassies got on top it was Dave Mansergh who levelled the scores after 58 minutes when he cut in from the left and curled his shot into the far corner.

On 67 minutes a another quality strike from the left from Mike Melia put Hawcoat Park ahead.

2 minutes later Cassies were level when Tom Pavett converted the penalty after Dave Mansergh was brought down in the box.

Mansergh then had another shot brilliantly tipped onto the crossbar by the Hawcoat keeper.

Tom Heywood settled the match with 5 minutes to go with a smart strike from inside the box.

It was a decent game well refereed by Andy Cottrell .

Jake Stiendl, Ben Wheeler and Jasper Carey shone for Cassies.
