In a well contested open game at Fulwood it was Cassies who took the lead in the 8th minutes when a fine cross from Liam Curwen was converted by Dave Mansergh.

It was no surprise however when Danny Jones equalised for the home side 10 minutes later after a period of sustained pressure.

Chris Wraighte put Crooklands ahead on 25 min following a good run and a smart finish.

Danny Jones again equalised 8 minutes later and the score remained 2-2 at half time.

Jack Gardner put Cassies 3-2 up after ten minutes of the second half at the third attempt following a keepers save and also hitting the post. This looked the most likely result.

However Crooklands never found the breathing space of another goal and Fullwood were never going to back down. A Matt Seed cross 9 minutes from time ended up in the net for hard earned equaliser.

Crooklands probably felt a bit disappointed with the result as they had missed the better chances but Fulwood played some good open football and in coming back three times deserved a share of the spoils.
