Crowle Keys' 2023-24 season begins on Sunday 9th July with a home fixture against Kings Arms in the Isle of Axholme Cup. It's been seven years since the last meeting between the sides in the same competition, that game, played at Haxey Playing Field, ended in a two-nil victory for the Keys, both goals scored by Sam Thirkell.
Six teams, split into two groups of three, are involved with the top two sides in each group advancing to the semi-finals before the final, scheduled to take place at Epworth's A-tech Arena on Friday 28th July.
Proceeds from the Isle Cup this year will go towards a bench to honour the memory of Saxon Foster, with any surplus donated to the men's mental health charity MANUP? Further details of MANUP?'s work can be found at its website www.manup.how and a justgiving page has been set up with the address www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/will-stewart-1
