Culter banished the memories of saturdays display against dyce with an accomplished performance

The visitors started the better of the two teams .With Sim and Mc Allister both testing the goalkeeper
in the early stages. and were rewarded on 27 minutes when Jaimie Mc Allister tried his luck from
the edge of the area his shot was blocked by defender but the ball rebounded back to him he controlled well
and set up Ian Leith who rifled the ball into the roof of the net to put the visitors into a deserved 1-0 lead
culter continued to boss the game and should of doubled their lead on 4o minutes when the referee awarded
culter a penalty after Jamie Mc Allister was upended in the box by lee sweeny but to the bemusement of the
travelling support the referee only saw fit to brandish a yellow card. up stepped Scott Mc Arthur but he squandered
the chance to double the visitors advantage as his low shot was saved by the aforementioned sweeney
culter were then dealt an injury blow as Neil Reid was forced of with a hamstring injury to be replaced

from Hugh Robertson found Andy Sim who turned and drilled his shot low under the keeper to make
it 0-2 . the game was now beginning to become stretched with both teams having a go but culter held out for
a deserved victory and three more precious points in their quest to reclaim the super league title
Culter's victory combined with dyce juniors defeat at stonehaven means
that if the crombie park men win their next super league game against relegation threatened
lewis utd on saturday they will be crowned super league champions
