It was amazing to see the girls and ladies section out in force on Pitch One showing their support for menstrual awareness. Together we raised almost £300 in total, which is fantastic.

This is not only a great achievement for all those involved, but a significant step in raising awareness of an important cause, as well as opening the conversation for all those in our girls and ladies section.

The funds raised will go towards donating menstrual hygiene products to a local charity as well as creating period packs for our age grade girls teams, and the ladies.. so thank you!

A special mention to Rachael for organising the event, and to “Hey Girls” for the product donation, we’re immensely grateful.

Let’s continue to support one another and break the taboo of an extremely important topic.
