Manager Darran Foster has resigned

The club are sad to announce that Darran Foster has resigned as Manager of Daventry Town FC.

Foster who returned to take charge at the start of the season has also run the clubhouse along with his family during this time.

His Assistant Manager Neil Champelovier and Club Secretary Nigel Foster, his brother, have also resigned their positions.

It was Darran's third spell with the club. In his second term he led the club to the FA Cup 1st Round and an away tie at Football League side Chesterfield. A match in which over 700 supporters in Daventry Town purple travelled to Derbyshire.

This season started brightly for Darran and the Town however a transfer embargo, poor attendances and money issues have led to a number of players leaving and the squad numbers depleted. Town's last win came in a 2 1 success at Tividale on the 19th December 2015.
