Arron Parkinson is a 36-year-old Northampton-born centre-back who recently returned to Daventry Town on a `dual registration` with AFC Rushden & Diamonds in November 2014, however, he has now signed for the Town on a permanent basis.
Parky had joined the Diamonds early in 2013. Aaron has featured in two UCL winning sides – Woodford United and ourselves as well as being captain of Leamington Town.
Arron has also turned out for Banbury United and Brackley Town before joining Banbury based, Easington Sports.
After joining the Diamonds he made 8 appearances in the remainder of the 2012-13 season, followed by a further 23(3) appearances in 2013-14. His first match back for Daventry Town this season was in the Red Insure defeat at Stratford Town. He was names as Managers Man of the Match at Aylesbury last Tuesday night.
