Jamie Gould was previously with Cambridge City and Brackley before joining the now defunct Daventry United. Jamie joined Daventry United after an injury had prevented him playing for a year. Jamie has great experience at this level of football, which prompted Darran to appoint his to the coaching staff this season.

When Daventry were awarded a free kick outside the opposition penalty area, supporters knew we have a chance of scoring a goal, such are the skills and precision Jamie has shown when converting them!
An excellent wing back, Jamie was always keen to press forward, but does never forgot his defensive responsibilities, covering an enormous amount of ground from box to box. Jamie scored a number of important penalties for us too last season!
