Today we welcomed Bicester u14's for a friendly match at Boundary Park.
The game started well with both sides defending well but it was Bicester that broke the dead lock with fast hands in the back line and poor tackling by Didcot getting them over the line.
Didcot once again dropped their heads after the score and allowed Bicester time on the ball and once again poor tackles and over commitment in rucks and mauls allowed Bicester to go over 3 more times in the 1st half with 1 being converted HT score 22-0 to Bicester.

The half time team talk is becoming the same every week "don't over commit / support / don't get sucked in keep the back line"
Once again the boys started the 2nd half with determination and played their game dominating the ruck/maul and supporting each other resulting in a great try into the corner from Charlie. From the restart Didcot pack dominated the breakdown and made some great ground using simple phases of play allowing Didcot to go over 2 more times with a great run from our center James going over close to the posts and a power full run by our n.o8 Harry Dlyan converting 1.
It was deep into the 2nd half when Bicester scored their 5th try with handling in a line out allowing them another easy try.
Final score 17-27 but another total dominated 2nd half from Didcot but we need to start from the 1st whistle as time was against us again!!!
