For the second week the older U6s started to learn and play Tag Rugby, in preparation for their transition to the U7s next season. We have been building u slowly over the weeks to the full game of Tag, so the players quickly adapted to the new rules, if a little relaxed, and played what we would all recognise as Tag Ruby. Their teamwork and discipline were great.

The younger U6 players have been developing their passing and tagging skills, both of which are much improved.

We still spent much of the session together playing Stuck in the Mud and Bulldog and doing some silly stretching exercises whilst learning about the five core values of rugby, Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Trophies this week went to a player who showed great discipline in the Tag Rugby game and who was also great at looking for space, and to a player who demonstrated superb sportsmanship, respect and teamwork in small sided tag and passing games.
