The new season officially kicks of for Didcot Town on Saturday as we make our bow in a new division with a trip to Welwyn Garden City in Southern League Division One Central, 3pm kick off.
it's been a long summer and pre-season for the Railwaymen who have played 7 matches in preparation for the new season and begin with a tough looking away fixture at Welwyn Garden City who will be playing their very first game at Step 4 level following their championship winning season in the Spartan South Midland League last season.
Didcot go into the game with 4 players missing, George Reid (ankle) and David Murphy (knee) are both missing due to injury while Morgan Williams and Michael Alexis are both unavailable to make the trip as well.
Manager Andy Ballard has named a 16 man squad to travel to Welwyn Garden City and it will be as follows
