Didcot Town return home tomorrow for the first time since October 5th where they will face 9th placed Barton Rovers in Southern League Division One Central. 3pm kick off from the Loop Meadow Stadium.
It's been a tough few weeks for the Railwaymen and they come into Saturday's game wounded and on the back of back to back league defeats. Last season saw a struggling Barton team come to then high flying playoff chasing Railwaymen and come away with a hard earned 1-0 victory but the shoe is very much on the other foot as Barton sit just 4 points behind 3rd placed AFC Dunstable while Didcot currently sit 17th in the table but just 5 points behind Barton.
Manager Jamie Heapy has had a host of injuries to deal with in recent weeks which has undoubtedly effected his side and he will definitely be without forward Josh Pin who injured his hip against Daventry Town, the news being that he will be missing for the next 6-8 weeks. Also unavailable is midfield trio Seth Humphries, George Nash and Lewis Hayden the latter two also injured against Daventry. One piece of good news is that Mark Bell is available again and will be in Saturday's squad.
The bar will be open all day so get down and support the lads as they need it more than ever as we try and get ourselves up the table!
