It's a return to league business for Didcot Town tomorrow as the Railwaymen make the journey to the Midlands to face Coleshill Town, 3pm kick off from Pack Meadow. The Colemen currently sit smack bang in the middle of the table after beating Thame United at home 1-0 on Monday evening leaving them 6 points ahead of the 17th placed Railwaymen.
In last season's meetings between the sides saw results shared as Didcot despite taking an early lead via Lance Williams fell to a 2-1 defeat at Coleshill before exacting their revenge with a 1-0 win at the Loop later on in the season as both teams finished narrowly outside of the playoff places. Didcot supporters who made the trip to Coleshill last season will remember the atrocious weather conditions on the day and the forecast isn't looking much better for tomorrow! There will be no issues with the playing surface due to Coleshill's 4G playing surface but don't forget your wet weather gear!
There is mixed news for manager Jamie Heapy heading into tomorrow's game, George Nash and Lewis Hayden came through Tuesday's game with no issues and trained fully on Thursday night and will be in tomorrow's squad. Mark Bell has recovered from the illness that kept him out of the last 2 games and he is also back in the squad. However Seth Humphries ankle injury hasn't fully healed, despite playing on Tuesday it hasn't reacted as well as all had hoped and he looks set to miss at least Saturday and possibly another few weeks. Liam Talboys has a toe injury sustained in the build up to last Saturday's game with Barton Rovers and he also is out of tomorrow's game.
Elsewhere duo Mark Francis and Harry Sampford look set to leave the club with paperwork in motion as Francis will join Hellenic Premier Division Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Sampford will be joining Ardley United. Both of these are dual registrations but we expect both to be playing for their new teams shortly.
For supporters not making the trip to Coleshill tomorrow we will as ever be providing regular updates via Twitter (@didcottownfc) as Didcot hunt a much needed 3 points in the league.
