I have now put up our fixtures for the 2014/14 season. You will notice the lack of information regarding opponents and whether its home or away, which I would like to explain.

The reserve leagues this year start a lot different than usual. As you all may well be aware we have had plenty of no show fixtures last season or cancel at the last minute. The new system is designed in the first 8 weeks to see who can get a regular team each week to keep consistency for those who want to play - so what's happening?

For the first 8 weeks we have to declare we have a team and if we have a pitch. The GRFU will then assign us a fixture that can be home or away, which we will know by Wednesday. In the interest of helping this we need conformation as to if you can play well before selection on Tuesday. These are down as North 3 - Flex Fixture on the list.

After the first 8 weeks the GRFU will know who can regularly field a team and those who can in leagues with fixed fixtures for the season. These are on as North 3 - TBC and will be replaced by teams after the initial 8 weeks.

We are also entering a cup competition which will give us less friendlies and more games against potentially new opponents. These are down as Cup but obviously if we don't progress then these will become friendlies.
