Dipo Akinyemi

Striker Dipo Akinyemi has signed a new contract with the club, after returning to the squad over pre-season.

To date Akinyemi has made 87 appearances for Dulwich and scored 37 goals. He was the club's top goalscorer last season with 17 goals and played a key role in helping Dulwich survive their first season at National League South level.

Yannis Ambroisine

French centre back Yannis Ambroisine has also joined Dulwich Hamlet.

Born in Paris, Ambroisine played for French sides Entente SSG and Montreuil Red Star, before moving to England and signing for North Greenford United. Subsequently he had spells with Southall, Waltham Abbey, Hayes and Yeading United and Leatherhead.

Signed by Steve King for Whitehawk in December 2017, Ambroisine spent the remainder of the season there and then followed his manager to Welling United where he played last season.

Having featured in all seven of Dulwich’s pre-season friendlies, Ambroisine will be a useful addition to Gavin Rose’s defence this year.

Aaron Barnes

Finally, Dulwich Hamlet are pleased to announce the signing of right back Aaron Barnes.

The former Colchester United defender has been on trial with Dulwich this summer and has impressed with his performances, particularly against Bromley and Tottenham Hotspur.

Barnes has been training with the rest of the squad and put pen to paper this week to sign a contract with Dulwich.

The 22-year-old was contracted to Colchester United last season, where he largely featured for their development squad. While there he also had a loan spell at Torquay United when they were last in the National League.

A product of the Arsenal Academy, Barnes joined Charlton Athletic at the age of 16, where he spent four years, making his professional debut against Swindon Town in April 2017.
