This match wasn't about the result but rather the message that Dulwich Hamlet FC welcomes all and raised money for the Elton John Aids Foundation.

The ground breaking anti homophobia friendly was as predictably one sided as the difference in the two sides respective league positions suggested. Dulwich ran in 6 unanswered goals as the Stonewall side spent most of the game defending but that didn't dampen the atmosphere amongst the 369 in attendance.

Dean McDonald got his first run out for many months and Mu Maan also got some action; both scoring twice.

It took 16 minutes for the first goal to arrive. A low cross from Pedro was fumbled by the Stonewall keeper and Dean McDonald was left with the simple task of tapping home the loose ball.

Two minutes later Mu Maan had a ahot from distance tipped over by Brzoska in the Stonewall goal but he was to get nowhere near the next effort from Maan a minute later.

This time Maan hit a shot from 25 yards that crashed into the top corner that would have left any keeper with no chance.

That was to be the extent of first half scoring although Dulwich came close on a number of occasions; particularly Harry Ottaway who had a shot well saved whilst also having a header and shot just off target.

Half Time 2-0

Within a minute of the restart Dean McDonald had his second as he followed up after another shot had been saved.

Shaun McCoulsky couldn't control a pass from Dean McDonald when put through on goal and McDonald was just wide with another effort after good work from Pedro on the left.

The fourth goal arrived in the 52nd minute as Mu Maan fired home from close range before McDonald went close twice; firstly he had an effort just wide and then struck the goal frame.

The fifth goal came in the 79th minute as a defender headed a cross against his own bar and Kameiko Pope-Campbell followed up to nod the ball over the line.

The final goal came in the 89th minute from the penalty spot after Shawn McCoulsky was fouled and Osman Proni confidently converted.

Final score 6-0
