The club is pleased to announce that Sankofa, who made his first appearance in a Dulwich Hamlet shirt in last Saturday’s 2-1 win at National League South side Hayes and Yeading, has signed Ryman League forms ahead of the coming season.
Streatham born Sankofa is a versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back line. He was previously with Whitehawk but began his professional career with Charlton Athletic in 2002 where he spent six years. Subsequently he moved to Southend United before playing for a number of clubs in the Conference South including Farnborough, Eastleigh and Hayes & Yeading. He has been capped at every level of England youth football from under 16s through to under 20s.
Beyond the playing side of the game Osei has also delivered workshops for Kick It Out and is a trained tutor by the Professional Footballers Association. He is also in the planning stage of working with KIO and the Premier League to deliver diversity training to all Premier League clubs from the U10s right the way through to the coaches.
