Wood is a product of the Southampton youth scheme and signed his first professional contract with them.

He joins the club having spent last season with fellow National League South side, Ebbsfleet United. The 25 year old previously played for Accrington Stanley, Havant & Waterlooville and Dagenham & Redbridge.
