After impressive pre-seasons with the club, trialists Jayden Clarke and Joe Felix sign up ahead of the new season.

With pre-season finally over and the competitive action due to begin tomorrow, we are delighted to welcome two of our stars of the last few weeks to the club in Jayden Clarke and Joe Felix.

Forward Clarke has appeared in every one of our seven pre-season friendlies, starting the games against Millwall U23s and Farnborough, predominantly playing on the left-hand side of a front three.

The 21-year-old spent the last two seasons at Hendon, scoring 11 goals in 63 games for the Greens. Jayden also impressed in our London Senior Cup clash at Silver Jubilee Park last season, scoring a brace, including a tremendous curling effort from distance. Prior to playing for Hendon, Jayden was with Bedfont Sports.

Joe also appeared in every friendly this summer, including starting each of the last four, and has shown wonderful versatility, having played in central midfield, full-back and wing-back at various points over the last few weeks.

Joe finished last season in the National League playing for Torquay United, making nine league appearances at Plainmoor. He had joined United from Billericay, whom he initially signed for in 2020. A graduate of the Fulham academy, he has also played for Hendon in the past, as well Farnborough among others.

On signing Jayden, manager Gavin Rose said, "I have been very impressed with how Jayden has played both as a wide player or in midfield, especially since Kalvin Kalala picked up a serious injury at Farnborough. I like the way he plays, he is very brave with the ball, and is not afraid to express himself. He played really well against us for Hendon last year, and we have liked his performances in pre-season and want to see how he can progress."

On Joe, the gaffer said, "Joe has shown a great attitude and works really hard. He has a great willingness to work hard for his teammates and possesses a fair amount of quality as well. Again with Kalvin's injury it has allowed us to bring Joe in, all the boys love him and he gets on really well with everyone else and I'm sure he will help us out through the season."

Welcome to both Jayden and Joe from everyone at the club!
