Dulwich have brought in five more experienced signings for the forthcoming 2021/22 season

Dulwich Hamlet are pleased to announce the signings of Chike Kandi, James Dayton, Jordan Green, Darren McQueen and Deon Moore.

Kandi is a forward, who can play up front or on the wing, and came through Chelsea’s academy. He then signed for Brighton & Hove Albion and played for their Under 21s side. Since then, he has played for Woking, Leatherhead, Dagenham & Redbridge and most recently Aldershot Town.

He has also represented Wales at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels, scoring on his Under-19 debut against Moldova.

James Dayton signs from Leyton Orient and is an experienced midfielder, as well as a two-time winner of the National League. A product of Crystal Palace’s academy, Dayton signed for Kilmarnock in 2010 where he went on to win the Scottish League Cup in 2012. Subsequently he has played for Oldham, St Mirren, Swindon, Cheltenham Town and Leyton Orient, for whom he helped win promotion to the Football League in 2019.

South Londoner Jordan Green is a skilful winger, with Football League experience. After a season in non-league at Banbury United, Green was picked up by AFC Bournemouth where he featured for their Under 21 side. He later signed for Yeovil Town, making over 50 appearances for the Glovers in League Two.

Green moved on to Barnsley in January 2019 and has since featured on loan at Newport County and Southend United. The rapid wide man was on the scoresheet for Dulwich as a triallist in our 5-2 victory over Brentford B during pre-season.

Striker Darren McQueen joins us from Dagenham & Redbridge on a season-long loan. McQueen has a prolific record in the National League South, having scored 18 goals in 32 appearances for Dartford in the 2019/20 campaign.

McQueen, 26, started his career in Tottenham's youth system before spending a year at Ipswich Town. He has since featured for Maldon & Tiptree, Ebbsfleet and Sutton United, and joined Dagenham from Dartford in August 2020. McQueen has also been capped twice by the England C team, and has two goals to his name.

Forward Deon Moore returns to the club for the forthcoming season. Hailing from Croydon, Moore played for Carshalton in his youth career before signing for Peterborough United as a scholar. In 2018 he joined Bristol Rovers, where he also spent time on loan at Bath and Billericay.

He signed for Dulwich last summer and was a regular during the 2020/21 season, in which he scored four goals.

Meanwhile, the club are pleased to announce the promotions of Academy players Alpha Diallo, Henry Molyneux and Ned Bowker to the senior squad. All three will be members of the first team for the 2021/22 season.
