Player fees for the 2022/23 season

Player fees for the 2022/23 season

Players, well done for a brilliant first season and for continuing to train over the summer. Great effort :-)
It’s time to look ahead to the 2022/23 season and as Treasurer, I get the unpopular job of sharing information about fees. I hope you think we’ve got some good options for you - don't worry, there's nothing to pay until September! If you have any questions about fees, please send me a message through the Pitchero app.
Please use the QR code or this link to access a Google form where you can tell us which payment offer you want to go for and your kit requirements. Please do this by 17th July so kit can be ordered ready for September.
Vivien Townsend (Treasurer, East Leake RFC)

What if money is tight?
The Committee is adamant that financial challenges shouldn’t stop anyone from being a player at East Leake RFC. If you read this message and think you’ll struggle to pay your fees from September, for any reason, do please send me a message through Pitchero or speak with Jonno or another senior player or coach. The Club can support anyone who is struggling financially, and we’ll be discrete in how we work with you to find a level of payment that you can afford. Students and apprentices will get 50% off training and match fees*. If you are age under 18 or still at school, fees are £0.

What did I pay in 2021/22?
In 2021/22 the Club charged £5 per training session (x26) and £5 per match (x6). If you attended everything, you paid £160. There was 50% off for students. The cost of training kit was £40 on top of this. So in total, you paid a maximum of £200.

Can I pay as I go in 2022/23?
Yes, this is OPTION A. Fees will be the same as last year but we anticipate that there will be more training sessions (x32) and more matches (x10 home and x10 away). If you go to every training session and play in all matches, you will be charged £260. Training kit will be offered at £40 (reduced from £60). So in total, you will pay a maximum of £300.
How will this work? In August, I will send you a shop item to pay for kit (if ordered) and then at the end of each month (September to April, 8 months) I’ll send another shop item to request payment for everything you’ve attended.
BASIC OFFER You pay up to £300
Training fees: £5/£2.50*
Match fees: £5/£2.50*
Kit: £40

Can I set up a monthly direct debit in 2022/23?
Yes, this is OPTION B. The fee is £20 per month for 8 months (September to April) so you’d pay £160 in total. If you are a student or apprentice, you pay £10 per month. This includes all training fees and all match fees including after-match food. And excitingly, this price also includes your training kit worth £60.
How will this work? In August, I will send you a shop item to pay by monthly direct debit and payments will start from September.

Can I pay up front in 2022/23?
Yes, this is OPTION C and is the best offer. The one-off fee is £140. If you are a student or apprentice, you pay £70. This includes all training fees and all match fees including after-match food. And as above, this price also includes your training kit worth £60.
How will this work? In August, I will send you a shop item to pay up front and make your single payment.

What if training/matches are cancelled, I can’t play because of injury or I leave the club?
If you leave, you’ll be refunded for each whole month remaining in the season as a proportion of the fee paid up front, or your direct debit can be cancelled.
If you are injured and unable to take part in training/matches, please let me know immediately. If you paid up front, you’ll be refunded for each month missed as a proportion of the fee paid, or your direct debit can be put on hold until you are fit enough to return to training.
Refunds will not be made if training sessions or matches are cancelled by the Club, or if you are unable to attend for other reasons.
