When the 1's went to Bloxwich they came away with a draw, and were lucky to get that with one of the worst performances of the season. So the home leg was a chance for things to be put right.

The first 15 minutes saw Eds storm to an early lead with tries from Bilbo (mark garrick - 15) and Coles (dave coles - 14) after some hard pack work was finished with slick backs hands.

However Bloxwich then started playing, and the game turned into a hard faught encounter that produced some of the grittiest and best defending that Eds have done all season. For long spells the bloxwich pack hammered on the eds line and were held up time and time again.

The final score was 22-15, and not getting the bonus point means although promotion is 99% done, we still need the final point next week away at Barton to seal the deal.
