VISITING CINDER LANE

What to expect…

We aim to provide a warm welcome to everyone visiting Cinder Lane.

Whether you are a visiting player, official or first-time supporter we are proud of the positive reputation Fairford Town Football Club has.

There are a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly each matchday to ensure the smooth behind the scenes running of the club. We're always looking for extra help, so if you're interested, get in touch!

Parking

There is free parking available inside and outside the ground. Visiting supporters should drive up Cinder Lane and then turn left inside the gate, where you will be greeted at the entrance gate.

There is also a provision for minibus/coach parking at the top of Cinder Lane. If you are a club travelling by team coach, just let us know and we can reserve space for you.

Clubhouse

After entering the ground via the main gate then the clubhouse is the best place to head.

Inside you will find the main bar which serves a range of (very) competitively priced refreshments including beers, lagers, Guinness and soft drinks. Most major debit and credit cards are also accepted.

There is also a tea-bar which serves a range of hot drinks including tea, coffee, soup and hot chocolate. Perfect for when the nights draw in! The tea-bar is open before each game and during half-time.

BT Sport is also available in the clubhouse showing all live football and rugby games. Kick-off times are usually 12.45pm for Saturday lunchtime Premier League fixtures.

Inside the clubhouse there are two bars, a function hall, a skittle alley, home and away changing rooms, match and female officials room and a Boardroom for the use of visiting officials at half-time.

Programme

Fairford Town’s matchday programme is readily available throughout the 2016/17 season.

The programme is available at all home league fixtures priced at just £1.

Featuring all the latest news, views, features and photography from at Cinder Lane, the programme is a must read for anybody of a red and white persuasion.

Produced by A&M Print and Copy.

Kick-off times

Saturday matches kick-off at 3pm and midweek games kick-off at 7.45pm. If in doubt please check the official website or Twitter @FairfordTownFC for any amendments or changes.

Seating and standing

It’s your choice! You can either sit in one of the two stands on the far side of the ground or choose to stand anywhere along the side or end of the pitch.

There is hard standing all the way around the pitch making access easy from the clubhouse, where a range of refreshments are available every matchday.

Hospitality for visiting club officials

For each first team home game, there is half-time hospitality available for visiting club officials. These are laid on in the Boardroom located on the first floor of the clubhouse. Enter via the players' changing room entrance from the pitch, turn left, up the stairs and a warm welcome awaits. Fairford Coffee shop 7a are proud suppliers of half-time brownies!

Stewards

Several members of the Fairford Town FC committee will be in attendance at each game.

If you have a question, concern or would just like to say ‘hello’ then please ask behind the bar or for a member of the committee.

Toilet facilities

There are male and female toilets located in the clubhouse, as well as behind the stand just inside the entrance gate.

Post-match

The clubhouse is open before, during and after each game so please join us for a drink.

A post-match meal is also available for home and away players.
