Early on in the summer, when the goals were down, the pitch had its Summer treatment. Both goal mouths have been fully repaired, and other high-traffic pitch areas seeded and treated. That now means the surface is in great shape ahead of the season.

Another big job was to cut back and clear away trees from the bottom end of the pitch. This means much more light getting to the pitch and helping keep the pitch in better condition.
Alongside this, the lane & car park has had a trim too, with large overhanging branches cleared away.

One set of telegraph poles has now been taken down, with the others coming down this week also.

Next up was the repainting of the dugouts, and railings along the pitch, smartening up the pitch side area. A big thank you goes out to Glen for getting this done.

And lastly, it's the goals!! We managed to secure funding this summer to replace the old goals, with modern aluminium box stadium goals. After a short delay in the delivery, they are now being installed this week, ahead of their first game on Saturday.
