John has excellent technical ability but also has extensive knowledge and experience of the game. With a lot of youth in the rankings, both managers agree that John will pass his trade on to them and will help develop those players in the process.

John Hodder had this to say "When the gaffers got in touch with me and explained the plans for the coming season i was happy and confident to be a part of FC Darlaston and join the squad for the new season ahead. I was away at the back end of last season and I am happy to help in any way I can"

I can speak for everyone at the club that we are delighted that John will be with us for the new season ahead and I look forward to his energy, ability and experience on the pitch. We have got youth in our squad and John will be a inspiration to those players and will help to bring those players on in their development.
No mistake we did miss John at the end of last season as we lost his energy in the middle of the park and I am certain that our supporters will look forward to seeing John return to the club.
